Abbey graduated from the University of South Australia at the end of 1999 and has since acquired over 17 years’ experience, predominantly in the rehabilitation of patients with neurological conditions. In the past, she has held senior positions across a number of major SA Health public hospitals and recently has worked as a clinical educator in neurological and general rehabilitation for the University of South Australia. Abbey has also gained extensive experience working for nearly a decade in the UK for the National Health Service, both in the hospital and community settings. She has trained in The Bobath Concept in both, Australia and the UK, to further develop her skills of retraining movement in patients with neurological impairments. She enjoys seeing the difference good physiotherapy treatment can make to a person’s function and quality of life.
