physiotherapy1Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy

Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy is a non-invasive treatment that addresses problems in the musculoskeletal system (including joints, discs, muscles, tendons, ligaments and nerves) that cause pain, stiffness and weakness. The approach relies on accurate assessment, skilled techniques and appropriate advice.

Our physiotherapy services include treatment of the following common conditions:

  • Back and neck pain
  • Shoulder pain
  • Knee pain
  • Headache and whiplash
  • Joint and soft tissue injuries (ligament and tendon problems)
  • Sports injuries
  • Work-related injuries
  • Women’s health
  • Jaw problems

Please note that Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA), Workcover (WC), Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) and Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) Medicare patients are required to have a referral from their GP to attend our practice.

Motor Vehicle Accident patients are required to pay on the day of treatment and will be issued with a receipt which will enable a claim back from Allianz.

Enhanced Primary Care Medicare patients’ initial assessments will be 20 – 30 minutes. A longer consult can be requested. A gap will be charged for which the patient is responsible.
